The Social Security problem was supposed to have been solved by Reagan when he doubled the SS taxes. SS is broke because the government has been stealing, excuse me, umm borrowing the funds surplus.
I hear a lot of whining from conservatives about SS and healthcare. Where is the outrage over the crooks on Wallstreet and all the bailouts? Where are the perp walks? At least with the S&L scandal people went to jail. Personally I am sick of corporate welfare and socialism for the rich. I think all the conservative whining about the health care issue is to distract you from the more important stuff going on in our country.

I think this is bunch of crap. I hate to break it to you but we liberals work hard and pay taxes too. And the only person paying my bills is me. I’m sick of right-left politics. Both parties make me want to puke.

You are kidding, right? We already have death panels. Do you know what the percentage of claims are that are denied by insurance companies?

This is too alarming to contemplate.
Why? While by no means the most likely outcome, in my opinion, what about this scenario is to alarming to contemplate? You mean you might have to look up from your own concerns for a bit and focus on other more concrete issues like basic necessities? A house in PB would no longer be your prime economic focus? I’d love to hear why this is so alarming.
I don’t see a bank holiday as likely, we don’t have a gold backed currency, and the world has not shifted away from US demand enough. That will take years, unless of course we actually go through with Obamacare. If that happens, then that alarming scenario, whether too alarming or not, is front and center.

I don’t know about you but our “basic necessities” rent, food, utilities are paid with money from our bank account. Our paychecks are directly deposited and I don’t keep a stash of money under the rug (well not anymore anyway)so yeah I think it’s kind of alarming.
The FDIC is essentially broke now. I wouldn’t be surprised by a bank holiday. Neither of the banks I use are performing well. How many San Diego banks are well capitalized? One maybe?

You can preview the home at your leisure. I’ve even run across the same combo at different properties.
That’s really appalling, not to mention unethical. Realtors like your friend are the reason I refused to allow a lockbox on the rental I was living in.
Wow. Appalling and unethical. Whatever.
It is against MLS rules.
From the Sandicor agent homepage last month:
“Lockbox combinations are considered confidential information and should only be conveyed to other MLS participants and subscribers. Any member found in violation of giving a client a one day show code or combination for a combo box is in jeopardy of losing their keycard and MLS privileges. Sellers and listing agents are encouraged to contact the authorities should a member of the public be found entering the property without the accompaniment of an MLS participant as it is considered trespassing.”
I’ll laugh when somebody’s dog bites you.
