You are 100% correct. The chickens are getting ready to roost. The economy is a ticking time bomb and now we have the North Korean cartoon character ready to ruin our party, Iranian instability, Afghanistan and Iraq continuing to drain the coffers. What next? Is Yellowstone ready to blow and give us a natural nuclear winter? It’s almost like watching a mini series only we are in it. The tea parties are more about taxes than Obama, regardless of what the media portrays. Most of them are a slice of Americana, not just old, grumpy white people. I suggest everyone voice their opinion to Congress by writing, emailing and calling them to tell them what you want, not what they think you want.

ParticipantI am no Bush apologist. He lost me on immigration and his bail out. I could have done without the war as well, but I support the military. That being said, the insanity of the left when it comes to facts, especially the media’s fawning over Obama is repugnant. I think the Republicans lost when they decided they wanted to be a big tent circus. It is not working for the Dems, so why would it work for them. Both parties leave a lot to be desired and both will have to morph into something that supports core values of the majority of those the government serves or neither will survive. A party built on a loose coalition of fringe groups will not last in the long haul and will not survive the looming monetary crisis or leadership crisis.

ParticipantThe honeymoon will eventually subside, especially with North Korean bellicosity bringing out the worst in his leadership style. An aging Sheriff once said: “You can be a leader or you can play it safe, but you can’t do both.” In time this too shall pass.
