ParticipantIf you use traffic congestion as an indicator of where the jobs are in regards to the homes….highway 52, 125, 54 and 805, 5 to the southland are jammed pretty much every evening. As the work on 54 progresses and as soon as 125 is done to the 905 you’ll see the makings of the 15 of the southland. I’ve been watching the progression of the 54 and the jams at the 8, 94, 125 and the construction zone on the 54 have become nigthmarish.

When you make enough money to realize you’ll never make enough money….quality of daily life is the only thing.I’ve lived in many countries and visited even more…..When I get in the cab in Lindbergh field and tell him to take me home I’m so happy to live in San Diego. No matter what the season (but the winter is the best to be flying in to San Diego.) I’ll pay the prices to see the sun rise most every day!

ParticipantI was in the UAE a few years back and a drinking buddy said to be a hi-roller and get some Iraqi Dinar. 750 bucks a million. Still got it and IIKTWIKN I would have bought Russian Hookers instead. What a rip. But who’s to know what will happen when Imperialist dog nations make even for past wrongs.

Participanttake the traffic school and get it over with. If you don’t the insurance company has another surprise for ya’! The wife had a fender bender and I got the RLT and my insurance rates doubled. Don’t take it lightly! The RLC’s suck but fighting it means waiting in lines at the court window and at least a day of your time. I thought I would fight it and went down to El Cajon traffic court and the line at the initial window was worse than a Fry’s checkout on black friday. Take your lumps and don’t do it again. But I’m with Turko “IT JUST AIN’T RIGHT!’ Nice pictures though ain’t they?

Is on the flyer. Apologies in advance if this is spamming. I’m not affiliated in any way. Just a poor homeowner with an adjustable kickin’ in soon.
I sent the wife to college to get her Registered Dietitian Internship and Certification. I was spending 10K a year to get her through college and her internship was another 15K.
This guy WON! with an ARM. I’m driving an old truck, no debt and a college degree in the house. Bring on the re-fi man!tugg49
ParticipantHad the same with a secretary in our office that had the bright idea of buying a rental in Tucson last year. Financed her existing mortgage to cash out and buy the house. I have some horror stories in my past as a landlord and let her know that it ain’t that straightforward as a landlord in San Diego much less a six-eight hour commute to re-lay carpet and get the plumbing fixed. She went through with itand was beaming like a new mother. She’s working elsewhere now and I haven’t talked to her for a while but I know she’s sweating bullets. It takes a special type of will to buy in this market and I tried to impress on her that it really sucks to be caught holding. I was and will never landlord again. A personal residence is different but to buy into this market thinking it’s going to regain momentum is not the frame of mind to be entering into a life changing event like a bubble-mortgage. If you were here in the early 90’s you know that leaving the keys on the kitchen table and walking away is a very real reality. I’ve determined that a sleepless night is worth a hundred bucks. That statement is an attention getter!
