For your own good please look at Obama a bit more and see what his views really are and where they could potentially bring us. Our Constitution is in grave danger and I hope that all you educated people just take the time to research these candidates.
WMDs in Iraq, U.S. soldiers will be greeted with roses, Abu Ghraib, no-bid contracts, vote for the $850 billion No Banker Left Behind Act or there will be an immediate economic meltdown, Obama is a secret Muslim, Obama is closely assoicated with terrorists, etc, etc.
The right has told so many lies and used so many baseless scare tactics that their credibility is completely shot. Take your scare tactics and shove them up your ass.

ParticipantCould you guys imagine the uproar from faux conservatives if Obama had nationalized the banks instead of Bush? When Bush nationalizes the entire banking system to the tune of $11 trillion, you hear nary a peep from faux conservatives. When Obama makes some throwaway statement about “spreading the wealth around”, faux conservatives start calling Obama the second coming of Karl Marx. By the reaction from faux conservatives, you would have thought Obama had proposed reducing by a few percent the cost of school lunches for children of the destitute.

Participant
If the bailout was just for the rich why did so many Democrats sign on? I was opposed on the basis of it goes against free market basics. I think it must have had something in it for them or it would have not been passed by Congress. As unpopular as Bush is, mostly conservative Republicans and local guys like Filner, who supported his constituency, voted against it. I think it was a smart vote to be against this turkey. No good can come of this big a giveaway.
I’m voting against Democratic Representative Susan A. Davis because she voted for the bailout. Both McCain and Obama supported the bailout, so there is no difference between the two on that front.
