Participant
It looks like we’ve got a buy the rumour, sell the news situation. The DOW went from 8,000 to 9,500 on the prospects of an Obama victory, but now that it’s actually happened, the cold, hard reality that phony, crony capitalism led by Bush still exists is setting in.
The market will likely sell-off today as market participants realize that we still have one of the dumbest people alive in charge. As inauguration day gets closer, I expect the market to start picking it up again.
ALL HAIL, OBAMA!
Here’s my quote where I correctly predicted the sell-off. How are you people even employable with such poor reading comprehension? It’s like trying to conversate with kindergardeners.

ParticipantIt looks like the markets did exactly as I predicted. YESTERDAY I predicted that the market would rocket on prospects of an Obama victory. It did. Later on in this same thread, I predicted that TODAY would be a ‘sell the news’ situation. I figured that the market would wake up from yesterday’s jubilation, realize that Dumbya was still President, and sell off. Again, I was spot on.

Participant
down 140. Employment numbers look horrible. Think you’re safe at your company? Think again. I wouldn’t be gloating about how safe you think your job is.
No worries, dude. I’m thinking about walking into my boss’s office today and demanding that my title be changed to “The Man”. Sometimes I like to drive my importance home to the powers-that-be.
