Participant
afx: And if you think that Obama is going to do anything even remotely different than The Plan that’s already in motion, well, sport, you’re hitting off the same bong that Breezie is.
So if Republicans and Democrats are the same, then there’s no reason to ever vote for another Republican again, right?

Then don’t invest in mutual funds or put your money in pooled pension funds where managers won’t vote in your best interests. No one forces anyone to invest in a company directly or indirectly. The bottom line: people are lazy and want to find someone to blame for the outcome of their laziness.
Actually, if you want to parake in the tax benefits and matching funds that come with a typical 401(k), you usually have to choose some type of mutual fund if you want to invest in the stock market.

Participant
Obama campaigned on getting out of Iraq and ramping up in Afghanistan and, if necessary, in Pakistan. I fail to see how this is a continuation of Bush’s policies when Obama is doing exactly what he said he would do.
Now if Obama was using drones to bomb Iraq, then you’d have an argument.
This just shows how retarded those righties are. They think that as long as Obama is continuing to bomb ‘someone’ he is continuing Bush policies. Although Bush and the 20% of righties who are still standing with him may not be able to distinguish between Iraq and Afghanistan, thank the Good Lord Above that we now have a leader in charge who can.
