ParticipantWhat worries me about Obama is the same thing that worries you: Where’s the beef? I will grant that he is an outstanding orator, but beyond the rhetoric, I have seen little of real substance.
Yeah, I guess the fact that he would have kept us out of the $3 trillion Iraq boondoggle is inconsequential. Get real. Whatever new social programs he puts in place will pale in comparison to the money and lives lost in the Iraq quagmire.

ParticipantAll I can say is, just wait until Obama is in the white house. You ain’t seen nothing yet with regards to bailouts.
Yeah, it would be nice if we could get an Obama presidency with a Republican Congress. I don’t see that happening, but if the Democrats keep this crap up we might see Republicans retaking Congress in the mid-term elections.

ParticipantI want to find out all the details on Countrywide’s mortgage to Dodd. Funny that he got the gimmick loan when he was trying to get legislation passed to bail out mortgage companies.
It’s even worse than that. It looks like Dodd took a $300 billion bailout program written by Bank of America and tried to pass it off as a bill he had written:
I hope Dodd is forced to resign.
