The Wildomar area (the south west side next to the forest) is actually not a bad area, especially if you commute to O.C..
There are some nice views in the hills and the weather/forest/area is more South Temecual/fallbrook like.
As long as you don’t have school age kids (schools not that great in that area just yet).

I had a few run in’s with My HOA when I first moved in, You just have to prove there are other neighbors do what you are doing and no one else is complaining and they usually leave you alone after they find out that it’s one of their buddies doing the same thing you are.
As far as clothes lines, I think there is a law that says that you can put any energy saving device you want (like a 30 foot pole with a wind generator on it) and the HOA can do nothing about it, But I would need to check on that again.

Just My two cents, But I think the Fed will Cut rates until the pain stops….
Where will house prices be then (who knows, but when they stop cutting the rates, I think your probably close to the bottom).
Where will the Dollar be ??? Who knows ??
Where will rates be ??? (don’t know myself).

I don’t know anything really, but I work next to two big CoutryWide offices in Calabasas, I took a walk to the market to buy a lotto ticket a little while ago, over heard a few people standing outside one of the offices saying something big was up for tomorrow. They were all (like) Drive safe home now and the like.. Very sad it seemed.
Maybe it’s nothing who knows …

Hey if you do get this for 350 to 400 K Please let us know,
I myself think this would be an OK deal at that price range, (although I hate the tile Job and the yard is way too small for me).
From my experience so far, the worse deals are the foreclosures .. seems the banks are the worse to deal with as they seem to be able to wait forever (at least for now anyway).

ParticipantGiven the price of land and the cost to develop the land, some of these homes are coming in at about cost to build in some developments (not everywhere so I will not try to name developments but there are a few out there).
In a few of these developments to go much lower the develper will be looking at a liquidation type of situation.
Things could get interesting….
I would say if you can build (permits, Land development etc… for less than 100 sqf) I want to hire you to build on my piece of land PLEASE !!!!..

Will it have a good air conditioner,
Seems the Japanese have a much better quality air conditioners than the American cars do (they last much longer).

Yea this seems to be happening everywhere (well most everywhere), The Builders know what the mortgage companies will go for and what they won’t (or they are learning fast).
This whole credit crisis is really not what most think, The Sub-Prime of it’s self is not a big issue, what is a big issue is what the sub-prime did (this is where I think most economist get it wrong), What it did was drive the average price about 200K more than where it should have gone,
So Now the issue with credit is, who wants to buy paper on an asset that is 200K over priced ????
Not me for one.
