How would you compare that to the schools in La Costa valley? I had alot of recommendations to check this area out, but I grew wary as soon as I realized the schools werent Cbad. I know they are probably up and coming because of the new suburban growth. My gut is telling me to stay with Carlsbad…Pacific Rim did stand out to me when I researched the schools, but so did Aviara Oaks too.

terriParticipantSo…the 92011 zip code has really good schools…what about the areas with the older elementaries like magnolia…any older neighborhoods that are holding their value? I just want to make sure I cover all the promising areas of carlsbad before I settle on one area….so far the zip 92011 seems to be the top choice.

terriParticipantThat was my “feel” too…Initially before we gave Cbad a look, I focused all my research on La costa valley. Then when I saw how more spread out it was and with the inland areas being more hilly…I decided to look at the flatter, lagoon areas.
Living in the San pacifico area…I am assuming that by being in between the hwy and railroad tracks would be a down side with the noise. Does that really factor in heavily in that particular naighborhood?
