ParticipantMentally disabled. Hmmm, kind of like “I Am Sam”…Down’s Syndrome, mental retardation. Oh, those people might injure our children. They shouldn’t be allowed in our neighborhood. They are prone to unpredictable actions. They can be a social embarassment. They drool. They look funny. They talk funny. They ride the short bus. Their clothes don’t match. Let’s institutionalize them. Out of sight, out of mind. Better yet, let’s find a final solution.

ParticipantI’m enjoying a glass of Edmeades Zin while perusing this thread and I have concluded that red wine is actually one of the food groups and should be included in the USDA pyramid.
My most recent personal favorite from Costco is the Stark-Conde Twin Peak Vineyards 2005 Cab. I tried a bottle, purchased the remaining 6 bottles at Costco, drank my way through 2 bottles with my sister and my daughter, groaned when hubby opened a bottle for casual guests w/ minimal wine experience and then gave them a bottle to take home, and now am zealously guarding the remaining 2 bottles.

ParticipantOops TG, I think it’s the house on the other side. I will check out the address the next time I drive by and tell you for sure which place has a SS in progress. Don’t mention the SS to the neighbors just yet until I have a chance to confirm.
I wouldn’t be shocked if the BBQ “walked” next door; word on my street (actually viewed) is that the house you first were going to buy acquired a fountain from another REO on my street. An REO on Kornell St. had all mature landscaping removed one night, but that was probably a good thing since the former owners had quit watering the lawn long before they left, so I like to imagine the tree thief was performing an act of mercy for the poor greenery.
