ParticipantSocialism is unfairly maligned. We’re all socialists, the only difference is what we want to spend the money on. Some people want to spend it on healthcare, education and infrastructure. And what about high-population conservative states like TX or low-population liberal states like RI? Frankly, the Founders had no way of knowing the makeup of the US in 200+ years.
The historical reason was different: Blacks could vote in the North. The EC was created to weaken the free Black vote for President. The idea that the Founders planned for the 2016 election is the biggest load of horseshit I’ve heard in a long time.
Trump won due to a historical accident, plain and simple.

ParticipantUtah was never 85 mph. They went from 75 to 80 mph in the past few years and are actually looking at speed limit increases.
Texas is the only state that allows 85 mph.
ParticipantFunny thing: being of Eastern European origin, I’ve dated/got along with very few Eastern European women. I’ve met more Latinas and West Indians whom I’ve clicked with, starting in high school.

ParticipantIf you don’t want a woman who’s a gold-digger, the best answer is to date one that’s roughly your equal and intelligent/successful/competent on her own. You can’t have it both ways: weak/subservient and not needing your money.
First date is important … if she has trouble knowing what she wants (asks you to order for her) and doesn’t at least offer to leave the tip (ideally in cash), run the other way.

Hey, hey, now, I know a black (West Indian) lady whose grandfather was back and forth between this country and his own in the 1950s and 1960s. He bought a few houses in Brooklyn for thousands, now they’re worth millions.
ParticipantA 10 in appearance isn’t always what she’s cracked up to be. Better to meet someone who’s attractive to you, whom you enjoy doing stuff with, and who’s intellectually compatible with you. You’ll be living with her, not putting her on display in your Barbie collection.
