Participant7496 Circuola Sequioa. It was on a 15,000 sq ft lot and it sat on it at an angle so it actually had a huge back yard and an equally large side yard both with ocean views. The backyard was going to be a kiddie paradise for my children and the side yard was going to a pool/outdoor kitchen/tuscon fireplace paradise for the grown-ups. It was a unique location unlike any others in that price range and I loved the floorplan (Plan 2 with the center courtyard). It was a very good deal at 950K.
If I have anything, its a great eye for for great real estate and a vision of what things could be.

There was one house in La Costa Oaks that I wanted and was willing to move for. I knew it was a special property with incredible potential and underpriced relative to the others. When it was released I was #1 on their priority list. That is until someone considered “friends and family” of the builder (Centex) jumped ahead of me a grabbed it. What a load a crap that is.
He put almost nothing into it. Minimal landscaping and I dont think he even painted the interior. The house sold for $950,000 in 2005. The guy who got it just put it on the market for $1.25M and sold it in 2 weeks.

ParticipantCorte Verso was the model but based upon location it probably had a pretty hefty disclosure re: the slope issue. It may not have been specifically affected but it’s close enough to those that were if it wasnt. Wouldnt put too much weight on that comp.
Obertura looks very nice but just came on the market a couple days ago. Its ranged price between 895 and 975. Based upon location, orientation, upgrades to current high standards, lot size, cul de sac etc someone out there will likely pay 900K for that IMO.
