Serbal has a lousy yard and lousy upgrades with some differences in the layout selected by each homeowner that the builder allowed. Nonetheless they are essentially the same home separated by a block or two that will sell nearly 300K apart.

You’ve got that backwards. The question is not whether you would pay more for a better lot but rather would you put up with RSF as your backyard for 200K less. The answer for me is NO I would not put up with that at any price for a primary residence. As an investment, its a different question.
