ParticipantIf you want cheap and good, go to San Diego Wine Company. Prices are as good or better than Costco and you might find something there that you wont see at Von’s.

ParticipantTG,
While I dont get to drink as much I have pretty much the same categories. I call my bottom category Hun Wine as in when Atilla and the Huns roll in to raid my wine closet. I am also fortunate to have a very good friend nearby (one of many who I’ve known since we were 1 year old) who is a serious collector (was up to about 1000 bottles but has drunk his way down into the 600’s) that shares some of his best with me. My favorite thing to do is to go to his storage locker in the OC on a Saturday night where the have open house events. Usually 20 to 30 people show up and try to out do each other with something special from the collection. You would go nuts there. They even have a 50 inch plasma for watching games.sdr

ParticipantKeep your eyes in 92009 off Levante. No HOA’s, some interesting custom homes, long time owners that may become lifecycle sellers at market prices, lots of quiet cul-de-sacs and some huge lots. Also the school is great but not as big, overwhelming or crowded as ECC or OPE.
