ParticipantStill feels like a disconnect between San Diego and the rest of the country. On the way down, we were leading the way along with Florida. Then other markets went downhill and we levelled off. Then the other markets levelled off while we came up a bit.
Now, we seem to be in a fairly normal cycle – up in the Spring. Down in the Winter but the rest of the country is heading downhill.
It’s odd. I guess everyone wants to live here.

ParticipantRecently did some architecture tours in LA.
Hollyhock House – tour.
Ennis Brown – walked around and snooped.
Gamble House in Pasadena – tour.
Also snooped around a couple other houses in LA.
All good stuff. Hollyhock seems a bit of an architectural disaster to me but it is FLW so you are supposed to like it. Worth seeing.

Participant

My wife and I have already decided (with kids at age 3 and 9 mo) that if the issue ever comes up, we’re keeping them with their own age group. To us, emotional health is far more important
I don’t know how that. Why would you want to retard your children if they can move on to the next grade?
Because they could possibly grow up to be poorly socialized.
Ahem.
