ParticipantI’m starting to send out letters to representatives asking a question. Here it is.
“A question for you. Has it ever been considered to award money to any entity that develops any green energy that competes directly with oil or coal? Specifically to award the money only after the technology has demonstrated it’s viability. To me this kind of policy is the simplest and most obvious approach. I imagine that a cash prize of 5 billion would stir up a lot of competition and development.
Regards”
Mind you all that the letters have only gone out to a few Dems and Green party reps. I figure they would be most likely to answer. Well see.

ParticipantI moved two thirds of my savings from Wells to Cabrillo Credit Union a couple months ago. Unfortunately Cabrillos customer service kinda sucks so I’m just letting the $$ sit there and continuing to use Wells for day to day. No easy answer.

ParticipantYeah they are deceptive. Not that that excuses me for ignorance. So be warned all. If you talk to a person asking about express pass prices then you will get something like “Oh, about $40 a month.” Read the site and you’ll see that it amounts to $40 a week just to go to Otay and back from La Mesa. Thats what it costs for me. So I just take the 805.
Unless you drive a tank or always get stuck in traffic at the absolute worst times then the 125 is definitely not worth the $$. Taking the 805 is only five to ten minutes difference.
Customer service. There was a closure on one of the exits and no notification via email was sent. I emailed them asking whats up with that. The response essentially blamed CalTrans for not communicating with them. I responded to them to let CalTrans know that I will be using the 125 much less.
