ParticipantPeter you and I don’t agree on much but you absolutely nailed it. If people don’t think that 1% property tax on what is clearly the most overinflated housing market in possibly the world is enough then they just don’t get it.
The state legislation simply does not understand the concept of a balanced budget.
It really isn’t that challenging of a concept.

ParticipantAhhh I dont know AN. Mikes right to left was a drive through the lane and actually there was nobody contesting it. What I thought was happening is that Mike was losing altitude. Yes I think he was thinking of a right hand slam but was going to fall short of the rim so he switch hands and finger rolled it in. The fact that he had to finger roll it shows he was running out of hang time.
We will have to review the tape!

ParticipantHere here Allan.
Well boys let the fun begin.
TG that layup kobe made where he flashed the lane, held up the ball in front of Howard, then floated and came down and threw it in before he landed definitely rivaled jordans right to left layup. In my opinion it was a much harder shot.
Anyways I am not saying for kids to look up to the guy, but damn he is great baller.
I remember when I was kid… Any sport we played… whiffle ball, hoops, tennis ball baseball, football… we ALWAYS emulated the pros… however I don’t think we idolized or looked up to any of the players as role models. I think you guys know what I mean. I think it is perfectly healthy for my kids to pretend they are Kobe, or LT or even Ray Lewis (who literally has gotten away with being an accessory to murder) as long as that pretend is on the field of play.
As far as Kobe giving an elbow, Kobe is not any dirtier then any player in the league. Basketball is a physical game. It is fast, and one of the problems with it is that the same dimensions of the court have not changed since its inception. However the men who play it are WAY WAY WAY larger and faster then the men who originated the game. These guys are physical marvels and they are confined to a small space at a high speed. In the end it is all scoreboard baby.
All I can say is… when is mini camp!
