ParticipantCardiff the browns…. ouch… that one does hurt man. Sorry man.
sdr I dont know dude. offensive and defensive lines just cannot throw a switch…. you can muck through the afc west and limp into the playoffs 10-6 but you run into a buzz saw playing in a cold city back east in january.

ParticipantNo the saints are not hiding anywhere. They are damn scary good right now. I mean they rolled up the eagles like they were pasties and that eagle d is not as bad as they made them look. I agree with you about them. vikings look pretty tough as well. I can see a steeler saints super bowl shaping up pretty nice….even the jets are making me think a bit. Nice coach them jets have… hmmmmm… I don’t see the ravens making it through the playoffs. I see them making the playoffs though. I like the running game they have, good o and d lines… I like flaco as well… like you said though the ravens d backfield was exposed.
True about the bolts transparency. Yet even if you know what they will do, jackson, floyd and gates are so damn big you can say yeah screw it, here is what we are gonna do, you try to stop it. The sproles long td was made because jackson picked off ray lewis… it was a gem.
To bad though… if the bolts did have the raiders line, EITHER of the raiders lines, they would be scary good.

ParticipantAllan lets make no mistake, the raiders have a much stronger line on both sides of the ball. Over the past few years we have watched the decline of the running game with the chargers not because of LTs health but more because of a line that is not built for run blocking. It is what it is. The team has definitely taken on the attitude of the coach whether we like it or not.
If your sons qb would have been at the helm last monday nite your raiders are sitting at 2-0. Never have I seen a more inaccurate qb the jamarcus.
Going back to the bolts yes it was slopping tackling but the bottom line is that there is no personnel along either line for the bolts. Yes we have great skill positions but the raiders showed they can be shut down. I do hafta admit rivers has shown heart and a nice arm and some of those long balls yesterday were right on target. But then he brain cramps and throws a DUMBASS INT when he could have taken a sack or thrown it out of bounds. The late INT sucked because it was interference but rivers should never have thrown it cuz that db was sitting and waiting for it.
I don’t see the bolts making the playoffs because you need good lines to be a playoff team and we dont have a good line on either side of the ball. So far two games and the other lines are usually on our side of the line of scrimmage no matter who has the ball. It is really hard to watch them play especially when they are on defense. Watching cooper jump gaps and run himself out of plays, watching arm tackling, watching hart who definitely would not be a starting on most any nfl team, watching them get pushed back 3 yards off the line… it is really tough.
The final stall on 3rd and 4th and 2 was predictable. Lets not forget Nanee could have had the first down if he didn’t jerk around on his run after the catch on the 2nd down play. So why on 3rd and 2 do you bunch the line and try some finesse bullshit pass. How predictable was that? Then on 4th down you KNOW, you KNOW Ray Lewis is gonna jump the gap and blitz… I am sitting there yelling before the play, DONT RUN, CALL TO CALL TO. You have been dominating the corners all day and you cant convert 2 yards in 2 plays.
No you don’t deserve to win, you don’t deserve to make the playoffs, and you are a soft team that is not well coached. How many stupid penalties did they have?
Finally AJ is nowhere to be found. His love affair with linebackers has left the O and D lines in a shambles. You have Jamal Williams who has more knee operations then months in a year and you never in 6 years can draft or trade for another tackle? Cesare and Castillo are just guys. Look at Ngata for the Ravens and DAMN the raiders did great in the seymour trade. That dude is a STUD.
Football games are won in the trenches. Plain and simple.

ParticipantEveryone pretty much captured it well. I lived on Cheryl Ridge, north of Calle Cristobal and paid in the rental range that AN mentioned. The home was decent and we were in a cul de sac. Of the 9 homes (I think) in the cul de sac, one of them was a rental with 4 cars in front of it. No problems to speak of. Calle Cristobal is noisy and there are usually a few accidents a year from people racing on it. However we didnt have a problem with the noise where we lived and I am really sensitive to noise in a big way. The quality of the homes are okay, not great, not crappy, at least the newer ones built after 1990. Yes the school district is the issue most people have. Overall it is not a bad area IMO. Of course some people here will badmouth it and others will not. We used to go to the park at the end of Camino Ruiz ALOT as it is a nice family park. When I worked in the tech center it was awesome driving to work in 5 minutes as well. I know the area there very well, almost as good as AN so if you do have questions just post em and I will be glad to try to answer them.
