ParticipantInteresting thread. Now, I don’t know if I believe this, but I will throw it out there, because this point has not been discussed yet. I had a professor many years ago who said that homosexuality was a natural method of reducing overpopulation. (Arraya–where are ya on this one?)
As for gay marriage, let it be so. Sexuality is A LOT more fluid then many would like to admit, and I imagine that scares some folks. There are numerous “straight” people engaging in gay sex–take a look at our politicians….hmmmm….
Marion, I recommend refresher courses in Cultural Diversity and Sexuality–they are required courses for state licensure.

ParticipantInteresting thread. Yes, where you are at financially does alter your perspective. I have a friend on disability, and she thinks I have so much money. Of course, when you are on a fixed income, a “middle middle class” salary (thanks Raptorduck, I found your table informative), it looks like the big bucks.
Some months ago, she hit a car and considered leaving the scene….she said “well, it was a nice car, so I know they had money, so it would not be as hard on them as it is on me.” I thought that was pretty darn entitled of her, but perhaps it is just a matter of perspective.
