ParticipantWow Partypup! You are rock solid in your perceptions, regarding racism, class level, association, etc. You mentioned “birds of a feather.” Here are some other ones:
“guilt by association” and there is a reason why someone that is an “accessory (sp?)” or “accomplice” to a crime also faces penalty. Thanks partypup, but unfortunately, I don’t believe empathy is a learned skill (at least as an adult).Ricechex

aerodynamics is not some new science invented to enable electric vehicles. i’m sure the builders of this thing know a thing or two about it. but i’m damn sure they don’t have the funding for countless hours in a windtunnel.
as well, i’m sure it’s all carbon fiber or glass composite. great stuff, outsource it to china and you could get the bodies made cheap. and the three wheel design is to reduce rolling resistance, i’m sure. but that’s all besides the point.
the average commuter drives what, less than 30 mi/day? 120 mile range is insufficient for road trips, not to mention the lack of cargo and passenger space. that thing is built for commuters and grocery getting, what’s the point of maxing out the gee gaw bullshit? it’s an exercise in stupidity, like the two wheel rover thing or electric carts that are only barely street legal.

ParticipantMarion, I encourage you to find a rescue dog. Over 300,000 dogs are euthanized in Southern CA each year. You would be saving a life. Many of the rescue groups can also provide a background history on the dogs. That includes, whether they are housebroken, get along with children, shed, etc.
