ParticipantI don’t think it’s correct to say that you would “have trouble selling it.” You might have trouble accepting the price it will bring. Any home will sell fast if priced right.

ParticipantYup, slumlords get better returns. I frequent a forum where a lot of landlords gather (BiggerPockets), and many of them seem attracted to the low end. They also frequently seem stressed out and constantly post about problem tenants. I’d personally rather make a little less and give my blood pressure a break.

I know it’s just your first impression of the cars and that you’re mostly joking, so don’t take this personally… it’s just a short rant against Porsche ignorance everywhere, from a serious enthusiast.
Spelling “Boxster” wrong is a dead giveaway that a person doesn’t know anything about the car. It’s actually one of the best production racing platforms available, unfortunately underutilized. It’s mid-engined, compared to the 911’s rear engine, so much better balanced. It’s relatively light and the flat-6 has a very low center of gravity compared to an inline or V.
There’s a reason Porsche handicaps the Boxster and Cayman with less horsepower. The 911 is their flagship, and they know that all else being equal (engine, suspension, tires, etc), a “pussy Porsche” will embarrass a 911 on any track.
