ParticipantI commute from Temecula to Carlsbad. My hedge against gas prices is an aftermarket air intake on my pocket rocket. It added 2mpg, and makes a cool woooosssshhhh as it sucks in air and I can now hear the psssssshhhhhh from the turbo bypass valve when I let off the gas. Some things are more important than money – namely torque.

ParticipantA guide to real estate marketing terms:
“Cozy” = small
“Cute” = small
“Gardner’s delight” = no/overgrown landscaping
“Nestled” = tiny lot, no view
“Classic” = old
“Established” = old
“Clean” = old and dirtyBut seriously, I ran into those issues and more. Our lot size ended up being 1,000 sf smaller than the advertised size, just because the whole tract had been given the same generic size and that’s what ended up on the records.
On a positive note, while we did see dozens of horrible layouts, we did walk into one (only one) where we instantly said “yes!” and ended up buying it.

ParticipantIf he keeps coming back, there’s something about these houses that he likes. No street lights or outside lighting maybe? Thick bushes blocking the view of the street? I second the motion sensor lights.
Unless your dog is a BIG SCARY one, he will be the only one getting hurt if he attacks a big dude. A small yapping dog would be better than a medium sized brave one.
Thumbs up on the Remington Tactical. There are much less lethal rounds available if that’s your issue with using one.
