Well, not really. Again, I’m not totally against they idea of paying for grades, but I don’t want my kids to learn that people will pay them to do stuff that isn’t really helping the person who is paying them.
In the real world, people only pay you to do stuff that helps them. My kids getting better grades doesn’t help me at all.
So, it isn’t like the real world at all. Well, except maybe kinda like welfare.[/quote]
That is my EXACT point. It exists in the real world as any government handout!! Welfare, Bailout etc.
My husbands parents were a Lawyer and a Doctor. They handed out money for things like this and several of their well educated children frequently rely on the govt or their parents still to this day.Kid are pretty smart…if they can get something for doing the minimum they will. We are ALWAYS teaching them.

ParticipantThen it may be a lesson he needs to learn on his own the hard way.
The paying for grades reeks of government bailout to me. I don’t like it but it certainly exists in the real world.propertysearchaddiction

ParticipantOlivenhain is a nice quiet inland part of Encinitas. It is on the way to RSF from Encinitas. It seems pretty laid back and chill in my opinion.
Based on his information Olivenhain seems more like a good fit, plus the Target is just down the street.:)propertysearchaddiction
