I noticed that one as well, no idea what is going on. Question, what happens to this type of place when they stop work and don’t continue? If there is a loan, hoe does the bank deal with it? What if it forecloses? How would it get valued for resale? Basically, what are the neighborhood implications for this type of thing?
Speaking of Norman lane, anyone see the place 2 doors down on Norman? It seems nice… Not sure of the details.

poway_sellerParticipantTumbles, I;ve looked at madra & dwane ones only really since we want to be on the hill. dwane are okay but all just above our range, madra ones are more reasonabley priced but that main street is a real turn off. i would be more interested in them if it were a queiter street.
5915 madra is that foreclosure that is just a mess and would take LOTS of money to fix up… not worth the effort and a busy street.
5892 madra is okay, but street is a turn off and also house is fairly outdated so I see 150k or more to get to my taste.
5854 arboles is okay, but it is princess del ceroo, so not on the hill and no view
5890 del cerro blvd has work written all over it. no thanks, and too expensive still
6415 crystlaire i have not been in, but from previous postings it sounds like it needs tons of work also
i havent looked at the yokohama one yet, but plan on very soon since price was reduced recently. it looks pretty clean, but maybe it was just a good photographer.
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-076090156-5838_Yokohama_Ct_San_Diego_CA_92120waiting for fall…i saw that the yokohama one would be has a nice looking office, which you said you were looking for – but since you are waiting for more price declines im not worried telling you about it π

poway_sellerParticipantwhy am i looking here? same reason as you very likely… CV is a rat race, and del cerro is actually a really quaint, family oriented tight neighborhood. if we’re looking in the same price range and house style, then you and i are looking at just a few available homes (there arent more than 5 or so in the 750-900 range). just stay away from the ones I’ve got my eye on π
