Participant2010 has seen inflation in the range of 1-3%. I doubt inflation will be a serious problem until the job market recovers more, and that looks at least a year away.
With wages flat/deflationary, there’s just not a lot of upward demand pressure to drive inflation right now.

ParticipantI hate feeding trolls, but I’m just going to say that the federal suit is not siding with illegals or Mexico… it’s actually to protect the rights of the millions of US Citizens of Latino origin.
It was a badly written, unconstitutional law. There are ways to do the same thing legally, such as with random, rolling interstate stops where you stop everyone for papers. But that probably wouldn’t be popular, since it burdens everyone, not just a minority.

ParticipantI was “gifted”, but to me 4 sounds late to start teaching basics of counting, numbers and addition/subtraction. Addition and subtraction are very concrete subjects that can be taught with marbles, raisins, etc.
The “University of Google” taught me that before age 3 children are pretty limited, understanding only the concepts of “one” “two” and everything greater may as well be 100. But right around 36 months for most children something changes, and counting can be done. So really I’d say “the sooner the better”.

ParticipantWhile I’m sure the protesters are sympathetic to both the Tea Party and Republican Party, it doesn’t sound like an actual tea party march.
On the other hand, any religion that finds dogs offensive is rather silly.
On the third hand, my dog’s drool is pretty gross.
