Not to mention, it’s most likely made by a bunch of sweat shop workers, some of which who end up jumping out of buildings.Meanwhile…I’m still waiting for Windoze Mobile 7, lol…[/quote]
The sweat shop, where workers have been known to jump out of building, also makes phones for Nokia, SE, Motorola and a whole bunch of other brands. It also makes Wii, desktop computers, laptop computers, LCD monitors, cable modem, WiFi router and a whole bunch of other stuffs. This sweat shop employs over 400K workers and make just about any consumer electronic device imaginable.
There’s a very good chance that at least one of your consumer electronic products is made by, or have components, from this sweat shop; including the very computer that you’re using to get on Pigg.
Does that make you feel a bit guilty? If not, why pin it on iPhone 4?

ParticipantThis thread is back?!
For those of you that are saying buy American and avoid Chinese-made products… check the back of the very computer that you use to make your stand on the Internet…yeah, it’s made in China.
Own a smartphone such as iPhone, HTC, Nokia, etc? Yeah, they’re made in China too.
I’ll buy American-made products when it makes sense (price, quality, health, durability, etc.) but will not blindly support support this cause.

ParticipantA lot of accusations are made against Santee, as if it’s THE worst place to live in SD and that most (if not all) Santee residents are sub-human. But can anyone actually list a few truly awful crimes committed in Santee in the last few years? 2 girls tragically lost their lives at the hand of a convicted sex offender and a young man was beaten to death by his own friends outside of his own home, all happened in upscale neighborhoods around SD.
I’ve moved to Riverwalk for 1.5 years now and I can say that my neighbors are mostly decent people with common courtesy. Men are sometime shirtless, as they work on the yard, walk to the community pool or play with their kids, but it doesn’t feel out of place in a cohesive community and they do not have scary tattoo. At the same time, girls are often in bikini during summer days.
Kids will always be kids so yes, Riverwalk can be a bid rowdy and noisy during the summer months when kids (especially teenagers) are out of school. But I look back at my own teenage years and don’t feel that these kids are acting out of order or about to become the Bird Rock Bandits.
I guess some people will forever look down on Santee (and apparently some hate Alabama as well), not only negatively but absolute despise it. It just shows that prejudice (more or less of it) is not based on educational or professional achievement. I have lived amongst the elites in Asia (high-level MNC expats stationing there) and the “slums” of Inglewood (LA) and Flushing (NY). Santee is just fine for me and a place I feel I can settle down and live for a very long time.
