On a positive note the house in question has fallen out of escrow twice and the first time there was 25 offers, so we are making some progress.

pizzamanParticipantI’d be willing to bet that the larger homes in Harveston (3000 sq ft or more)will reach $100psf by this fall. The reason I say this is there has been a pattern developing during the course of the “correction” where the prime areas of Temecula/Murrieta tend to lag the outskirts (Menifee, French Valley, Wildomar) by 3 months or so. It was only a few months ago that we saw the first sub $100 listing in the fringe areas and now they are common place with many approaching $90 psf. Even the better areas of Murrieta have some sub $100 but they get snapped up fairly quickly. Heres one http://www.redfin.com/CA/Murrieta/23500-Sycamore-Creek-Ave-92562/home/6373121

Not sure what the accepted offer was but the agent says they got 15 in the few days it was on the market again. Here’s the listing http://www.redfin.com/CA/Murrieta/23993-Noelle-Ave-92562/home/6461848
If the link dies, it’s a 2766 sq ft single story house on a 1/3 acre in Murrieta. Bank owned listed for 331,500. Sold new in November 2003 for 407,500 then again in May of 2006 for 715,000.pizzamanParticipantWell, our full price cash offer didn’t get it done.
