ParticipantBTW: I have no need at this time to let my house go, I bought well within my means. That was not the issue I raised.
On the other hand, I live in a very modest 1500 sq ft 3/2 house – even the renters in my neighborhood who were foreclosed on don’t want to live in my hood.
I’m sure they figure they should live in a 3500 sq ft house up on Morgan Hill overlooking peasants such as myself.
At the end of the day, I don’t want anymore bad karma than I already have, as TG wisely pointed out.
