Participant
So far, the only other person I’ve seen mention the margin debt issue is spdrun. People should really be paying attention to this.

I’ve read some comments on yahoo about margin debt (some positive), but as a card carrying member of the joe six-pack club I have to say I’m still surprised by the one thing the market responds to: comments by the fed.
That seems to be the only meaningful ‘data’ point these days.
Now more than ever I am convinced this economy is heading for a collapse/deep depression. I’m not exactly sure of the timing, but the event horizon can’t be far.

ParticipantFar to many of these incidents involving pit bulls (and similar breeds):
March 30, 2014
An 11-year-old boy was severely bitten on the mouth by a pit bull this weekend in Winchester (Temecula area), according to a news report.
The Riverside County Department of Animal Services reported that the apparently unprovoked attack happened at 4 p.m. Saturday at a house on Stuber Street, where the victim was playing with friends, according to the Riverside Press- Enterprise.
The boy suffered a severe injury to his lower lip despite attempts to fend the dog off with a pool cue, the newspaper reported.
The 2-year-old female dog, which was not fixed, was turned over to authorities to be put down, according to The Press-Enterprise.

Participant
Insurance companies increasingly exclude pits and these companies aren’t known for making irrational decisions
Riverside County is also moving in the direction of pit bull (and similar breed) eradication.
“Pit bulls and pit bull mixes in unincorporated Riverside County must be spayed or neutered under terms of a sterilization ordinance the Board of Supervisors approved Tuesday, Oct. 8.”
I fully understand the mechanics/demographics of the victim mentality surrounding pit bulls and similar breeds.
Bringing a pit bull(s) into a community full of small children is about as moronic as it comes.

Participant
Have the dogs given you any direct reason to be fearful?
Pits have gotten a pretty bad wrap in the media. I have yet to meet a bad dog of any breed unless, the owner had created a bad dog.
Is it age, renter status or the dogs that’s really bothering you?
I couldn’t care less about pits, their bad wrap, their owners, etc…
My job is to protect my kids and that is what I intend to do – like it or not.

ParticipantGreat buy opportunity.
Yellen will certainly rescue the market.
Or maybe the market is not happy about the 192k (phony?) jobs report – meaning the feds policies are working and the fed pullback will continue.
