ParticipantNever been to El Centro, but Merced’s gotta be the most overbuilt city in Ca. I heard stories of some folk buying 5 or 6 houses during the boom hoping to rent them out to the U.C. Merced students.

ParticipantYou know, forecasts are a lot like…never mind. Key is, as was traditionally, employment imo. Took me awhile but perusing SEH, I just realized there is virtually nothing for sale there that is not contingent already and it looks like most builders are closing out.
