ParticipantI’m not happy with the healthcare bill as it stands either.
but Obama has a point in that healthcare as it stands will ultimately bankrupt this country. the only question would be how fast.
so what does a patriotic minority party do? it works with the administration make sure this bill would bring us in the right direction.
but instead, we got this massive right wing campaign spreading rumors and frightening the elderly just so this whole thing would die, figuring that if this bill dies then the Obama presidency would go along with it.
Unfortunately THE Republican Strategy for the next 4 years is shaping up to be: Let’s hope the Dems fail.

ParticipantI don’t understand why places like Jersey and SF are putting in artificial turf. it really does make a lot of sense for socal. drainage is not an issue. the fine rubber tire pallets are a concern.
