Mark my words, 15-20 years from now a lot of this “sensitivity” training is going to be proved to have stories of grooming(political as well as sexual) and abuse in it. That’s why I refused when the school picked my kid to be an ambassador, has nothing to do with my own views on inclusivity. Smells a little like NAMBLA, kind of like piggington’s does.

I spend all day doing plumbing to relocate a washer/dryer into a large bathroom, European style to reclaim the laundry room.
I think if I hired someone it would have cost me $2,500. I’m really proud of my solder joints. They used to look horrible, but now they are beautiful. No robot can do plumbing.
There are work history requirements to get the license. When I got mine many years ago I had to supply signed testimonies and a construction related resume.
At first my application was rejected because my history wasn’t very well documented. In your favor, owner builder stuff counted if a witness signed. I had a lot of work in all kinds of employment situations, as well as owner builder work , but I think you could pretty much make it up.

Obnoxious is the new persuasive?NotCrankyParticipant

Hillary should be in jail. Just the fact that 32,000 emails were deleted after being subpoenaed should be enough. I lived through the White Water scandal. Bill Clinton trying to define the word ‘is’. He was a disgrace to the presidency. You watch as DNC vice chair feeds the Clinton campaign upcoming questions. It is all so discouraging. And then you see how the Clinton followers just do not give a shit about anything the Clinton clan does. I really do not get it. Boggles the mind. Clinton is a career politician that really hasn’t done crap in the 30 years of ‘serving’. Screw all career politicians.
Trump is not a career politician. He isn’t lying and cheating to win. Yes, he puts his foot in his mouth. He’s a human being. I think his heart is in the right place. He gets my vote. I’d rather give him a chance than endure four more years of a Clinton.
No candidate is ever perfect but as a brown person I will always vote for the one that’s less racist.
It’s pretty hard to figure out which one is the most sexist, I think it’s Hillary, we are not used to understand sexism in Females. Hillary is racist in many ways. I heard a black feminist speak on this the other day. Blames white people like Hillary for destroying the black family and especially marginalizing black men. It was very good. Can’t find it now , unfortunately. I guess trump has not handled the immigration issue without offending “brown people” but even many Mexicans I know are voting for him because, as legal citizens , they don’t feel threatened even if he has made mistakes.
The more recent arrivals from Mexico, perhaps some of the people who fly Mexican Flags all over California and other states, seem to me to be as , or more offended by his attitude about Mexico than on Immigration. In other words it’s Mexican Jingoism.I am pretty close to some members of this population and my Spanish is very good.
NotCrankyParticipantI ‘d never own a rental unit I wouldn’t find acceptable to live in myself.
NotCrankyParticipantI think they are talking about something like this.
https://www.sindeo.com/blog/2015/07/30/purchase-money-second-mortgage-what-it-and-when-use-it/If so, the piggy back loan is probably going to be adjustable. That would be risky.
Before someone flames me, I am not real familiar with this , and the OP’s post was not very clear.
NotCrankyParticipantIsn’t football a dying sport?
NotCrankyParticipantI eat pretty well there and think I get my money’s worth. However, my kids eat more of the craptastic muffins, mac’n’cheese’ and desserts. We eat much better at home even when there is something sweet afterwards. It bothers me to take them there other than as a treat, and they really like it.
NotCrankyParticipantThis one surprised me. http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/15/politics/gays-for-donald-trump/
This is more nuanced than I thought.
NotCrankyParticipantHe has donated more to D’s than to R’s , THAT”S why Hillary went…or maybe for the food, who cares of if he is a Mafia boss? Hillary doesn’t.
NotCrankyParticipant

And if the rules have been broken it just proves Trump’s (and broader sociological) point that government exists to protect interests of ruling class.
It’s a broad claim that insulates Trump. He won’t fix anything.
Trump is like a mafia boss or a Russian oligarch. They do anything they want because they have power and they brag about it.
If you belong to the boss’ gang and kiss his ass some of his patronage will come your way.
There is nothing to fix. Trump was invited to former and future first-daughter’s wedding and you were not.
He only gets invited because Melania was once a low grade illegal immigrant model of some kind or another.
NotCrankyParticipant

Many Women hate Trump because he shows them what they are made of. Gays hate him because they love their mommy Hillary. These at worst are Half Truths.
Please tell me – what are women made of? Not for a moment has Trump made me self reflective.
I know it doesn’t apply to you, that’s where the half truth part comes in.
When you say these are “at worst” half truths, it leaves open the possibility that you believe what you say is entirely true (or entirely false – depending on what you think is worse). But assuming the facts in a light most favorable to you – what are half the women and “gays” made of? This should be interesting.
The at least part doesn’t really belong , good catch.
Doesn’t really refer to what gays are made of.
Nothing favorable in it for me.
NotCrankyParticipantHey, have a good day!
NotCrankyParticipantI don’t want everything to be bad , Brian.. I am just messing with your rabid black and white stances all bad Rep all good Dem.
Like Melania, many times it’s been said Bill is not running for president but you want to go birther on some possible micro issue with her immigration path. They you say trump supporters are hypocrites. Nope, not the one’s I know, they don’t hire illegals and pay them under the table and they didn’t immigrate someone illegal through marriage. Can’t blame them for attaching their Americans first value hopes to Trump for reasons of his rhetoric if nothing else.
Bill is a better target because he has been president before, makes the situation reek of Dynasty. Has share obstruction efforts with H in the highest place in gov. and on and on.
You make the generalization Rep. hate immigration and Dems are on the right side of it but I point out what Reagan and Bush did, you pointed out what junior bush wanted do and I am going to point at the Jeb , a republican, would want to do something pro-immigration while more people were deported under Obama than under any other president. You understand the process , but refuse to try to have a balanced view of the players and the politics.
