The Galil is interesting to me because I’m a lefty but like many I got used to doing many things right-handed. I tried an AK once and was impressed, it fully penetrated a 2′ oak tree stump like butter. Definitely something I’d want around in a post-apocalyptic zombie battle but for now I got rid of it.

Many top wage earners live very modestly below their means a la millionaire next door so I don’t see any problem with people of any means looking at MM. Other people choose CV due to schools etc. but some might also argue (and someone did) that MMHS is actually ranked very high.

I also live near Camino Santa Fe! I heard that the space where Bally’s was is going to be a Henry’s Market. I have long thought one thing that MM needs is a nice ranch market (I unhappily drive to La Jolla for Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods). Has anyone heard about this Henry’s plan?
