With 10% down (at the time) and borrowing $680k and at 6% rate, payment = $4,075 + $690 tax + $260 PMI. Ouch.
The original 10% down payment is $75,500 which is about the same as a 20% ($90,000) down payment now after inflation. so if someone buying this at $450k will need to borrow $360k, and with 5% interest rate. Payment = $1933 + $415 tax = $2,348. This is less than half the previous owner payment.
Wow

ninaprincessParticipantBeing hit by a Prius is not a good reason to hate it. There are good Prius drivers and bad Prius drivers like any other vehicle out there. Like many have mentioned before, you are much more likely survive in a collision with a car like prius than a big SUV.
From my experience, I see more speeding F-150s or Tahoes than speeding Prii. the big speeding SUVs are far more dangerous. If anything, Prius drivers are more on the slow side except Al Gore’s son who was caught driving 110 mph with his prius. And most of us probably agree that there are way too many speeding drivers out there.

Another closed deal. Same plan in the same area as the two properties mentioned above. This house is almost identical to the Raven Ridge house as it is also backing to CalleCristobal. It is in slightly better condition but probably shouldn’t be $43K more, or $53K more if we are taking in the $10K cash deal that the Raven Ridge buyer got from the bank.
