I actually don’t worry about the mortgage. The broker was referenced by a friend who I trust. The broker is located in Northern California. My friend has used the business to refinance many times. She told me they always provided her better rates than what could be found in Southern California. But, I do read every line of document when I need to sign.

I am first time buyer here and am not sure why HLS was so sure that no one would give me such a deal. Another mortgage broker also said the same thing when she called me to update the current deals and heard the unbeatable rate some other people offered to me. I have locked in 30 yr fixed. The appraiser will come this week. I don’t know who the bank is and all the details yet. But, I believe I have locked in that rate.
