But what causes someone to get the H. pylori bacteria? Could stress weaken the immune system and the body is vulnerable to unfriendly bacteria?
Yes, the fundamental underlying issue in almost all illnesses today is stress. When stress hormones are released into your body, the same hormones that get you ready for fight and flight, also shut off the immune system.
Stress can be good!
Don’t know if anybody has noticed it or not but all this talk of lowering rates or principal is nothing but talk. The government can’t make the banks do anything, all they can do is suggest. Now if the government would start focusing on what they “can do” then I think we would all be better off.October 27, 2011 at 9:57 AM in reply to: Low Mortgage Interest Rates For Everyone!!!: U.S. May Back Refinance Plan for Mortgages #731404moneymakerParticipantStress is not all bad. Just look at recruits in boot camp, severely stressed and yet the healthiest people around.
moneymakerParticipantI’m hoping certain stocks hyperinflate as they cater to the masses that have jobs overseas. Where is that list, oh yeah, found it!
moneymakerParticipantWhy not get a real camera that records to a DVR. Can even be monitored over the internet with alarms for motion/sound.My only problem is I don’t like the cameras inside my house but realisticly that is where they are needed if going on vacation or you have young kids with a sitter.
moneymakerParticipantIf you flip 9-9-9 upside down you get 666, so was it really god? 47% of Americans do not pay income taxes, wonder how many of those are millionares?
moneymakerParticipantIf by conforming you mean did I put down 20% or more then the answer is no. Why I went FHA instead of Freddie/Fannie I’m not sure as my credit is excellent. Will Freddie/Fannie allow 10% equity on a refi? Wish FHA would step up and put up a site documenting what changes they have made in the past as to what MIP is required.
moneymakerParticipantI would have to say deal breaker already. that is why I won’t buy a condo. Had a similar situation with a management company who wanted me to sign a contract. So I requested that they send me a copy so that I could look it over. It was all in their favor hence not legally enforceable, but the gall just made me want to puke, so told them I would not be signing. They wanted contract back I said “no”, they did nothing, I mean what could they do they gave it to me.
October 1, 2011 at 10:25 AM in reply to: It’s going to get much worse…there is no escape (ECRI) #729947moneymakerParticipantMy son and I went to a local sporting goods retailer several months ago and while we were there we tried on the five toe shoes. They were expensive and not very comfortable. I think it’s a good idea, just needs some improvement for us tenderfoots. Maybe a mesh over the toenails so that UV light can kill any potential fungus(onychomycosis). I would have bought them as anovelty item if they were cheaper.P.S> Now that I’m a week trader(not to be confused with day trader) I would love it if the Gubernment would let me invest my 401K the way I want to invest it. I say the best stimulus package would be to give people access to their 401k’s without penalty. not without paying taxes however. Wouldn’t it be great though if the taxes were 15% like the rich get.
September 29, 2011 at 9:24 AM in reply to: A Chronological Listing of News Headlines from the Last Housing Bubble #729883moneymakerParticipantI’ve no major regrets, maybe I’m just not old enough yet. I think I’ll do a little day trading(while educating myself on the market) and keep my day job just in case this turns out to be a regret. Think I’ll day trade the biggies you know the ones it would be smart to buy and keep anyway.
September 24, 2011 at 5:39 PM in reply to: OT: Reliable installer of bullet resistant auto glass #729738moneymakerParticipantWow afx114 cool video. Hate to be a nay sayer but it would just be too easy to half load the ammo or something like that. So doesn’t prove shit, but still impressive because it sure looked real. Can’t imagine those windows are cheap either. First thing I thought of when I read the post was someone wants to go to TJ. Maybe the police should have those windows as I always see them duck behind their doors when weapons are drawn.
moneymakerParticipant—There are also some further limitations under California law on whether a lender can get a deficiency when foreclosing on a home mortgage. Specifically, Cal. Code of Civil Procedure Section 580b provides that no deficiency judgment is allowed under a deed of trust or mortgage given to the seller to secure payment of the
balance of the purchase price of that real property, or under a deed of trust or mortgage on a dwelling for not more than four families given to a lender to secure repayment of a loan which was in fact used to pay all or part of the purchase price of that dwelling occupied, entirely or in part, by the
purchaser. Note that if a 1 – 4 family dwelling has been refinanced, however, then a deficiency judgment may be sought.—Wow things can really get complicated fast when one has a cosigner and a second mortgage,I don’t have either although I’ve been a cosigner in the past. Didn’t realize all the implications of it at the time, but everything turned out good as the original borrower(my brother)refinanced.Very informative site briansd1.moneymakerParticipantHence my recent post.
“Ok here’s some commentary. I predict the resale inventory will rise to the August 2010 level, then meet the Nov 2008 levels”. I would like to say I saw this coming, but just coincidence I think.moneymakerParticipantI’ve got a 5500W one. Puts out 45 amps @ 120V. It is loud, I’ve heard that Hondas are quieter. If I use mine again I will be cycling it most likely. For the approx. 5 hours that I ran it, it used approx. 2 gallons of gas.
moneymakerParticipant
I just watched the opening of the Jets/Cowboys game and the New York Fire Department’s band played amazing grace on the bagpipes. I’m doing all I can to not tell walter to take one day off or to insult brian for actually being what he hates, uncultured. Your mancards are dangerously close to being revoked today.
I take pause each year to remember this day, and today it is probably the most important because it’s been long enough but not too long. This isn’t about politics, wars, economics, racism or history. It’s about appreciating the human spirit and the hero gene that is dormant in most people (but not all). I can’t explain heroism to those who lack that element in their character. The people on flight 93 were not soldiers, firemen or cops, they didn’t practice risking their lives and they didn’t start their day knowing that this was the day they would have to make that decision. Earlier today, I went into my den and read the various awards and medals I received as a young man, including the one for saving another person’s life while risking my own. My hero days are behind me, yet every time I get on a plane I run through the flight 93 scenario and ask myself if I still have what it takes to GIVE MY LIFE for strangers today. I like to think it’s still in me, but I make no mistake in thinking there aren’t men and women out there far more brave than I, and I choose today as the day to quietly thank them, mourn them and appreciate them.
In a few months I will be making the trek to see the memorial and taking my kids with me, my son’s last trip with me before college. Before he strikes out on his own, he gets last lesson on what it means to be a man and what it means to me to be an American.
I will not be there to admire the artwork.
You don’t have to “give your life”. That is what terrorists do when they blow themselves up. Risking your life is different from giving it. Why does our culture (or the world for that matter)have such a fascination with martyrdom?
