ParticipantReally doesn’t it all come down to money. I used to be naive and think that Republicans and Democrats thought differently about money. Now I think I’ve met just as many Republicans that don’t want to pay taxes yet still receive the benefits as welfare queens, isn’t that pretty much entitlement no matter how you look at it. It can seem at times like a game until you come face to face with people that have real problems in their lives, which now that I think of it is just about everyone. Oh my god I’m starting to sound like Sarah Palin and I’m a Democrat. Check me into the pysc ward, hurry!

ParticipantIt’s true patb that the higher voltages are more efficient, but those big lines are still carrying a lot of current and remember it’s I^2. We are already importing everything else from China, so why not import solar cells from countries that have low electric rates.

Participant2 Words that should instill fear for home lenders are “non-recourse” and “bankruptcy”. Somehow I don’t think the fees add up to a hill of beans compared to these 2 behemoths. OT- Why would the government expect the TARP money to be paid back now, when lenders are generally in it for the long haul, and why would a lender pay 10% on a government loan while at the same time give me a <5% loan. A lot of short sited people out there.
