Yes, it is true. Fox News can say nothing bad about Obama. Oh, wait, maybe I’m confused.
Since you’re claiming the media favors Obama, then is your premise that Fox News is not part of the media? If that’s your point, then by golly I agree! Fox News is one big Republican ad.[/quote]
I feel that fox news deliberately aligns itself with with the right, and is to be scrutinized just as much as the majority of the rest of them that align themselves with the left. You missed my point entirely.

ParticipantIt’s too bad Bob Barr doesn’t get more media attention. The man makes a lot of sense, and talks about real issues. I’m thinking more and more that the Libertarian Party IS the new party. It just has to break through the media’s indifference to anything that is not selling advertising to get it’s message across.

ParticipantPersonally, I am thinking about voting against any and every incumbent I can. I think the entire government has gone down the tubes more so than any other time in our history. It has nothing to do with governing anymore, and is simply a machine to siphon off as much money as possible from the public as it sells us down the river to the first corporation with a campaign contribution. If nothing else, it will take a little while for all the new people to become as corrupt, and then we can just replace them. A couple rounds of this will wake people up.

ParticipantRegardless of what he stands for, he has a point. It is true that Obama is the media’s golden boy, and they can say nothing bad about him. Even if they do, it is always done with a slant to make the offense seem less severe. I’m sure that if McCain had a preacher like Wright, the media would have pounded him into the ground. Instead they put a spin on it that seemed to say that we shouldn’t care. Even though we have cared about religion in every other election. I personally don’t like either candidate. I’m tired of the “trickle down” theory of the republicans, and I’m tired of the socialism of the Democrats. I just want someone who will enforce the laws and leave me alone to make a living.
