ParticipantI would be worried about battery technology. If I remember correctly, the Tesla uses Lithium Ion batteries which have a life span of 5 years.

ParticipantI think the obesity issue is from food becoming much more readily and easily obtainable while or lifestyles are becoming much more sedentary. It’s just that simple.
I blame my weight gain over the past couple years on two things. My new Costco card, and the new asian girlfriend (turning 30 probably didn’t help). Between the two, I found myself 40 lbs overweight. I have started dieting and have been losing an average of a pound a week. I didn’t eliminate anything out of my diet all together, but I have started to change the ratios of bad foods to good. Wheat pasta instead of regular, brown rice instead of white, and most importantly, eliminated an average of 500 calories a day from my diet. This wasn’t too hard to do since I realized I tend to eat when I’m bored.

ParticipantI lived in that neighborhood for 5 years and loved it. It’s pretty easy to get in and out of by heading out toward the 5. If you go through the park to Pershing, it heads straight to the five, or downtown, or the 163 which is one exit up. Rebecca’s is a fantastic coffee shop, and there are some great restaurants. If I could afford to buy there I would. The only reason I moved was because my landlord died, and his wife wanted to sell the house. Then changed her mind, but I had already made plans.

ParticipantWe haven’t started the garden yet, but we have started a worm box. Hopefully we’ll get some pretty decent soil from it.
