ParticipantWe use a PS3 and a roku with a subscription to Netflix and Hulu +. I would recommend the roku. For the price, it can’t be beat. I also love the way they organize their “roku channels”. I have barely begun to explore, but their is a TON of stuff. We use AT&T dsl because COX was horribly unreliable. We’re paying $25/month for 12mps service which has been just fine. I use a d-link dr 655 router. The setup has been rock solid since we dropped cox.
We did get lucky, and cox has not snipped the line so we still get all the local HD channels over the cable line crystal clear. If you subscribe to cox internet, I would check to see if you’re getting the local channels as well.

ParticipantI’ve got a pair of the oil filled type, and they work great. I like that there are no moving parts, and they don’t get hot enough to be a hazard. They will easily heat a room, and many of them have a thermostat which cuts down on the electric bills.
