If the money hadn’t been confiscated from us in taxes, we’d have it to spend OURSELVES on goods and services. Duh!

Why is it always the new buyers that want to axe prop 13?
When you get pushed out of the house you’ve lived in for 30 years because state wants 1/3 of the price you paid for the house in taxes every year maybe you’ll figure it out.

I don’t want higher taxes but I didn’t (and haven’t) voted for any of the ballot measures you speak of for the last several elections.
