When I bought my laptop late last year I did a price comparison for a Mac Book Pro versus a Thinkpad. The thinkpad came out about $500 cheaper for the exact same configuration.
Couldn’t convince myself to pay the Apple “Tax”.

ParticipantI haven’t been to but two baseball games since they moved downtown and on both occasions I only went because the tickets and parking were comped.
Been to maybe two Chargers games in the last few years and those tickets, as well, were comped.
Haven’t (and won’t) buy any jerseys or other fan gear either.
