You need “the Breeze’s” website (at least I think it is “the Breeze’s site) http://www.sandiegodowntown.info/, which I think is the most knowledgeable place to go for downtown info…

MANmomParticipantSo what do you do when you have a current (small) mortgage with CFC? I am sure they will reorganize, no?

MANmomParticipantThis house has been for sale virtually from the day they bought it through various realtors. They probably thought the listing was stale and decided to spice it up…they can always claim it was an honest mistake…funny thing is those of us who live in these parts know that there are no houses in that area with that kind of entry…I don’t know whose house is in those pics, but it ain’t around here…by the way, Zillow has the correct picture of this house.

MANmomParticipantYou might check out Lew Breeze’s website on downtown properties, you can check out amenities, parking, HOA fees, and everything else relevant to a downtown condo on his sight, even see pictures. It’s a great resource. The address is…www.sandiegodowntown.info/

MANmomParticipantAnd PS, we have the best schools in the district…Westview High is going to be named in the top 500 schools (#240) in a national magazine this month…the article was just in the local newspaper (the pomerado news group) Corridor news. Can’t beat that!

MANmomParticipantI agree with others here, Rancho Penasquitos is a great area to live if you want diversity. My caucasion children are pretty much in the minority here. Lots of Asians of different backgrounds (Philipino, Chinese, Japanese), Indian, Latinos and Blacks live here. We also have a large contingent of illegal and legal migrant workers in this area (the canyon provides great cover). Makes for a very worldly view for my kids. They have a cricket league that plays near the baseball fields here at Canyonside park, it is interesting to watch that. Tai-Chi is also taught at our local park, our multi-cultural festivals at school are filled with tastes and sounds of the world…You should check it out! There are not many homes here over 3,000 square feet (maybe 10%), but there are some. Prices for those are around $1 million.

MANmomParticipantThis area also has hefty mello-roos taxes and HOAs…no wonder they are selling short.
