Participant$290 psf. is a bit high, and the main street for x-mas card lane is Oviedo, but that is probably the second most traveled street there during Christmas. Very quiet area, though and centrally located, pretty much walking distance to all schools.

ParticipantThis area of PQ in the article is already full of low income housing. They are just tearing down some old stuff and building newer low income housing. I really think that PQ must be divided into two distinct areas, on is on the east side of Black Mountain park and the other to the south and west. Old PQ vs. newer PQ, there really isn’t any comparison. If you are saying that because they are building these low-income units that the housing prices will fall, I think that would only happen in the “old PQ” where these are being built.

ParticipantPark Village is a nice place, great for those who love the outdoors, the Canyon is a gem. Schools are good, sometimes driving is a hassle, there is no connection from the older PQ to the semi-newer PQ to the newer PQ…engineers never designed any streets to go through from east to west, and North to South from Park Village is only Black Mt. Road, which backs up considerably in the am and pm. Park Village is essentially the world’s longest cul-de-sac. In the event of a fire, I think we would be trapped…I live near the end of Park Village Rd. When we had a small fire a few years ago, the firefighters had to run a hose across the road near PQ creek park, we were trapped. My husband could not go to work that day. They wouldn’t let him drive over the hoses…great engineering!
