I would venture to say that comparing Y2K to what we are experiencing now in reality is not a good comparison.

I perceive that 25 years from now, we will look back and say that was much worse than what we thought…but it was necessary to reset priorities and prices.

I guess I need to be an “original and creative” thinker to come up with a BUSINESS MODEL that will not work and then let my fellow taxpayers bear the burden of my “creative” thinking….

Kind of like the “creative” thinkers who came up with all these really neat financial instruments….

Bottom Line: GM and Ford need to go BK before we waste anymore money on these glory holes. We would be better off giving the money directly to the workers so they could go re-educate themselves in another area to be a viable asset to the labor market one day….
