ParticipantHi Marion,
Nice to know someone is nice enough to say hello around here…….:)(back @cha’)
I have been writing alot lately……I am constantly checking updates on the market…I am getting REAL ancy.
The home I am looking for is a 4 bedroom with pool, and unfortunately they are hard to come by(in my area)…..Usually, it’s just 4b or pool(with family room, fireplace and RV space). There are a couple up in shortsale mode and one that was foreclosed on in Oct., that needs a ton of work, but they haven’t listed it yet on the MLS.. Now, if I want to get my “exact” location of my hearts desire, when do I buy? If I wait will the few in my area get bought (that don’t even have everything I want) while I wait for interest rates and prices to keep decreasing? I don’t want to catch a falling knife, but I don’t have to wait until bottom either… I don’t see others comming up in my area on these foreclosure sites…..then I think of moving to a different city, to broaden my search of available homes….my kids want this area that specific school and our friends are here……..blaa blaa blaa….just ranting…but if you have any advice…. Participant“I think something is wrong with their data. Try to order the list of actual properties.”
Their data correlates with Sandicor’s(I’ve checked)……
Unless it’s something new that is wrong with their data.

ParticipantI did the same thing! 58 by the 10th in Santee, more than the whole month for the last 2 years. I ramndomly check other areas and was finding the same thing in some zip codes.
I believe it’s the interest rates and the repo’s. I am seeing houses now that I would want to buy, at or near what I would pay. I called my mortgage guy to lock a rate and get another loan approval. He said he would do it but “wait, interest rates are going to fall further and you guys are gonna get a GREAT deal.”.
That snowball has started to barrel down that hill now, and folks are jumping on……….
