One criteria we had when we first started looking at housing is that we want our own driveway so that guests can park on our driveway (closer to the house) and we can wash our cars if we want to (not like we do it a lot).
Just want to know how property values hold up with this type of housing with parking alley in the back.

lepetitangelParticipantThanks SD Realtor for your fair comments.
We saw another home in Bordeaux today and overall it’s a great house but asking for $950K (on Deer Park Way). We feel like it’s still over-priced and have no glue how to submit a low offer and expect the seller to accept.
Also how useful is zillow? We thought zillow usually over-estimates the houses’ values but it seems like zillow is giving me much lower price than what the seller is asking for.
Again this house we see on Deer Park Way is asking about $350/sqft.

I get that the house looks “cute” when you don’t see the garage…(depending how the garage is built and looks like). I guess after all it’s just preference.
I thought the reason why they’re bringing this back is so that the builder can build more homes in the same size lot of land. But I agree with you maybe some people prefer not seeing their driveway and garages.
