Hillary people will vote McCain or their girl will never have a shot. In eight years she is too wrinkled to be taken seriously.
Obama backed his luo tribe in the recent Kenyen ethnic cleansing. You remember the Luo…they are the muslims who declared that ‘their’ lands must be ‘purified’ by slaughtering or burning all the ‘infidel’ Christians who dared to live amoung them. The leader of the Luo is a relative and dear friend of Obama. Obama campaigned for him. He also happens to be the one that gave the genocidal order to eliminate all non-muslims so Obama’s people could live free from contact with ‘infidels’.

This one closed today for $925,000. 3/3 2000 sf on a 6100 sf lot.
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-076081507-5393_La_Jolla_Mesa_Dr_La_Jolla_Ca_92037
Ocean view from the living room and front porch. On a super busy street, so way less than ideal, but still well under a million. They originally listed for $1.3M.
.
No one ever thought that could sell for 1.3 even at the peak. Have you been there? The map pin in your link is inaccurate. It is located on a busy street with 2 other streets, Colima and Forward, street both angled straight into the front of the house. Imagine having your porch at the vertex of an angle made up of streets. Unnerving. Now imagine there are two such angles converging and you can understand the price.
The structure was ok but did not make up for the location. It had one strong selling point, it feeds into Bird Rock Elementary, the top school in San Diego. If you want that school, plus La Jolla schools for middle and high school, that was about the lowest priced possibility.

lajolla-pigParticipant
Earlier in this thread there was discussion of when we could get a 3br 2000sqft house with ocean view in LJ for under a million. One that was mentioned was 1034 La Jolla Rancho Rd, which was an REO listed at 999,000. See it here:
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-086024374-1034_La_Jolla_Rancho_Rd_La_Jolla_CA_92037
At the time the house was just pending, and supposedly there had been numerous offers on the place. Looks like it closed, at $1,175,000.
http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?zprop=16855370
That’s $505,000 (or 30%) off the 2006 sale price of $1,680,000.
Rumors circulate about this surprising sale. Of course I have no evidence whatsoever and would never suggest anything unusual went on with this sale. It is just interesting that of the vast number of offers on this property, some rumored to be well in excess of the closing price, that this one was accepted. Some people are just lucky it seems. And as for those rumors….well at this point I must assume they are baseless and were started by jealous losing-bidders.
