I suspect it’s a Mexican dress, but in that case I rather call it a Mexican dress. Are mexicans a “traditional Spanish inspired” people ??? Just asking for fun, FLU, the answer is clearly no.
It’s nice for your kids to dress up in events like that. Parents are probably busy with those school’s events like that, looking for clothes….etc.
Anyway, I didn’t know about the 200 year aniversary until hearing fireworks from tijuana…..You can guess where I live now then.
