ParticipantThey lied to get money, then they had financial problems now they are crying that they want to keep their home? What kind of arrogance is this? Many of us financially responsible people can’t even afford homes and we should have sympathy for those that feel entitled to have their home even if they don’t pay their bills?
What do they expect someone (or the government) to give them a free or greatly subsidized home?

ParticipantI was talking to a Realtor friend of mine and he said the likelihood of it going for $250,000 is virtually zero. It is priced this way to start a bidding war and even so he said a short sale is so time consuming that it is not even worth pursuing because in most cases it doesn’t materialize ๐
